The BNYL (Biafra Nations Youth League), has warned the Nigerian Army against the plan to commence its Operation Python Dance 3 in the South East.
BNYL, while describing the intended Army operation as “childish” vowed that it “won’t take it”.
In a statement signed by its Deputy Leader, Ebute Ogar Takon and sent to reporters, on Saturday, the group said the “Military was trying to cause confusion as well create tension in the region.”
Takon warned that the actions by the “Federal Government could result in possible unrest in the region.”
He said, “This is meaningless, if the Army wants to test their might, they should go to Sambisa or engage herdsmen or better still engage Cameroonian Military who are busy abducting Nigerians in the border, I don’t see any sense to this, it has become childish and we won’t take it”.
Takon also called on South East Political Leaders to reject the Military Operation to avert crises.
The group also lauded the United States, for the closure of their embassy in Nigeria.
BNYL advised the US Government to recognize Biafra, adding that
“Nigeria is a failed State and the world is becoming tired, we want the USA and other countries to support our struggle”.
